Born and raised in Lansing, DeLisa Fountain is a proud graduate of J.W. Sexton High School and Davenport University. In 2021 DeLisa was appointed as Director for the Department of Neighborhoods, Art, and Citizen Engagement with the City of Lansing.  DeLisa and her team have implemented and managed a large variety of projects and programs such as the 311 Call Center, Citizens Academy, Neighborhood Summits, and Neighborhood Grants, all executed with a heart for creating excellent communities in Lansing.
