Dustin Hunt, founder of Muralmatics, is a Michigan-based artist specializing in large-scale murals across the U.S. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts and teaching certification from Michigan State University, he combines his experience as a hip-hop DJ and graffiti artist with a strong commitment to community engagement. Hunt has received multiple artist grants, including the 2024 Arts Impact Grant from the Arts Council of Greater Lansing. His work has been showcased at mural festivals like BLKOUT Walls in Detroit and Heartside Historic Murals in Grand Rapids, as well as in artist residencies in Wyoming and Illinois.
