With a background in education, Marissa now works as an independent illustrator in the Greater Lansing Area. Whether it be writing and illustrating children’s books, painting murals, or developing and showing her origami-inspired drawing series, she strives to build connections within her community. She works out of her sunny studio above a plant shop.
