About these projects and the 2022 Summit
In preparation for our kickoff event at Creative Placemaking Summit 8: A Retrospective, we invited participants to explore Arts Impact Projects past and present on this webpage.
Arts Impact Projects are a part of the City of Lansing's Arts & Culture Grants, administered by the Arts Council of Greater Lansing. The $75,000 Arts Impact grants have been awarded annually since 2016, with the exception of 2021, and have funded a mural festival, a community mosaic project, three iconic sculptures, and a large-scale visual art installation utilizing spatial augmented reality technology. Learn more about the grant process.
